John Joseph Kennedy, a born leader, courageously stood up as a private citizen, a true Democrat and write-in candidate in the Presidential Election of 2004 with a powerful slogan, "To Rights the Wrongs of America!"

With the same courage and conviction, he is running for the highest office in the land in 2008 because, he says, "The lowest element of society has brought disgrace and ruin to America and the White House as never before seen in this country."

John Joseph Kennedy is not owned by any big corporation, pharmaceutical company, organization or lobbyist. He is beholden to no one except God and the great people of America. This is his strong suit. He brings integrity, hard work and a clean slate to the Oval Office.

He did not vote for the war in Iraq or the Patriot Acts-stripping away our freedoms and personal privacy rights, tracking, cameras and surveillance in our homes, schools and cars - black boxes hidden in air bags recording our every movement like common criminals or caged animals, employers reading our emails and recording our phone calls - all "legal" - thanks to every Republican and Democrat who voted these in. Nor did he authorize the blank check spending, over and over again. In fact, John Joseph Kennedy, a true Democrat, stood up against all of this and warned of the perils they would bring to America and the world. His vision shines through today, and has proven he was right.

John Joseph Kennedy has known the brink of poverty and the hard work that it takes to earn an honest dollar. This has made him into a great entrepreneur and innovator, with an impressive list of business accomplishments. He understand the plight of the poor,  the average American, middle class families - some of whom are only a paycheck or two away from being homeless, small businesses, and the rising home-based business owners, many whom are single parents who need to stay home and spend time with their children. Children need and deserve to have the love, attention and nurturing of a parent who is present in their lives.

John is in full support of programs, scholarships, mentorships, grants and loans to help EVERYONE succeed; not just the few at the top! He is also in support of a significant increase in the average hourly wage. "The new minimum hourly wage will barely cover a combo meal at a fast food chain! This is outrageous! Yet, for a few dollars, we work hard and are forced to give up our personal inalienable rights, dignity and freedom. What a price for 'freedom'?" John says.

"We are a family here in America and we must help each other. It is a crime that since the current administration began 6 years ago the United States of America has increased it's deficit by almost $3 trillion dollars. Where did it go? How much was spent on Americans? American families? American children? The homeless in America? The poor in America? The orphans of America? The sick, infirmed and dying in America? Americans living with, and dying from, A.I.D.S.? Education for our American children? Our environment? The oceans and marine life? Global Warming? Big corporations and those who are profiting from the wars should be held accountable, and taxed accordingly. Too much is given, much is expected. Not the other way around!" John says.  

"As your President, the  People's President, I will insure that the daily headlines are not dominated by news about Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, China, Korea, or even Mexico. The headlines are going to be about America and Americans! The needs, progress, accomplishments and successes of Georgians, Californians, New Yorkers, Virginians, West Virginians, Hawaiians, Washingtonians, Minnesotans, Floridians, South Carolinians, New Orleaneans, Oklahomans and Texans - all Americans - are going to become headline news again! America, and her wonderful, talented, courageous and generous people are going to be the focus of this country again. Yes, we are to lend love and support to our brothers and sisters and friends around the world, but, as I said in my 2004 campaign: America first! Especially our children!" JJK
